We are recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions below:

1.) Project HR Coordinator

Job Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • Interface with the front desk administrator to ensure accurate attendance reports are provided.
  • Collaborate with project managers to determine staffing needs, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of project-specific personnel.
  • Develop and implement onboarding processes for project team members, including orientation, training, and the provision of necessary resources.
  • Ensure project-specific policies and procedures are communicated during onboarding.
  • Ensure that project teams are aware of and adhere to company HR policies and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in identifying the required skills and qualifications for project roles.
  • Manage the recruitment process for project roles, from job posting to candidate interviews and selection.
  • Coordinate with external recruitment agencies, if necessary, to source suitable candidates.
  • Assist in resolving HR-related issues or disputes that may arise during the project.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential project-specific HR records, including personnel files, contracts, and timesheets.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports related to project staffing and personnel.
  • Support performance management processes for project team members, including performance appraisals, goalsetting, and feedback.
  • Disseminate information on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Coordinate the offboarding process for project team members at the conclusion of projects, including exit interviews and documentation.
  • Ensure that all project-related assets are returned.
  • Ensure project-specific HR practices comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide guidance to project managers on addressing performance-related issues.
  • Coordinate project-specific compensation and benefits packages in alignment with company policies.
  • Administer benefits enrolment and resolve benefits-related queries.
  • Facilitate clear communication between project teams and the HR department regarding HR-related matters.
  • Generate project HR reports as needed for project managers and senior management.

2.) Lead E&I Engineer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Manage proper and timely execution of all Electrical engineering and design-related activities/deliverables of projects
  • Lead Electrical Engineering and design unit within the Engineering Department
  • Define the discipline scope and/or project proposals, including the required resources.
  • Responsible for cost, schedule, material quantity, and budget control and management of change.
  • Ensure all electrical documents are issued.
  • Ensure effective communications with other engineering disciplines, project management, and Client teams as regards Electrical matters.
  • Contribute in people development (e.g. coach junior engineers).
  • Shall have experience in preparation of Design basis, specification, data sheets and sizing for various instruments including, control valves, PSVs, flowmeters, analyzers etc.
  • Accurately performs and/or checks electrical design calculations for electrical loads, short circuit and device coordination studies, voltage drop, etc. using standard electrical engineering software in accordance with applicable codes
  • Produce proposals for projects which involve man-hour- and schedule estimates related to the Electrical scope of work.
  • Add value plus/optimization ideas.
  • Develops scopes of work, assumptions and clarifications, and man-hour estimates in response to Requests for Proposals
  • Performs interdisciplinary checks.
  • Prepares, reviews, and/or interprets drawings, specifications and vendor submittals
  • Review of vendor offers and selection of a technically qualified vendor for the given application. Preparation of Technical Bid Analysis.
  • Working with Client/ PMC for resolving the technical queries, obtaining the necessary technical approvals, etc
  • Ensure and perform engineering and design prudently so as to optimize cost of project execution.
  • Working with the vendors for Kick –Off Meetings after the award of the PO, design review meetings for discussing the technical queries and the solutions, keeping a track of the vendor’s activities and the progress.
  • Maintains project Contract review, KPI, Change Tracking, Schedule Tracking, Productivity and dashboard reporting, Value Engineering, Lesson Learnt etc.
  • Issuing deliverables as per Project requirements
  • Vendor documents reviews
  • Review of vendor deliverables to ensure their technical compliance. Provide necessary inputs to other disciplines.
  • Attending FAT, SAT and witnessing the compliance of vendor in meeting the project requirements.
  • Supporting the proposal efforts for various projects bids
  • Responsible for achieving department KPI objectives, productivity, and milestones in a multidisciplinary task force.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Eng qualification with 6 – 8 years of work experience.

3.) Contracts Administrator

Job Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • Ensure that administration of the project contract is carried out to a high standard in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure effective post-award contract administration of contracts including: contractual correspondence; agreement, drafting and processing of claims, amendments and variations; maintaining and archiving of contract files/documents; co-ordination and contract close-outs.
  • Negotiating contract terms with internal and external partners
  • Review and resolve, including necessary internal consultations, any VOR’s or claims – issue VO’s or amendments, seeking approvals, as necessary.
  • Prepare contractual and commercial correspondence, and ensure maintenance of correspondence files.
  • Advise regarding interpretation and implementation of the terms and conditions of the project contract.
  • Maintain auditable contract records.
  • Provide input into project budgets and cost forecasting, as required.
  • Provide contractual input to project risk reviews.
  • Coordinating day-to-day administration of client accounts and contracts
  • Liaise with interdepartmental to ensure coordinated approach and consistency between cost reporting and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain contacts and liaise as required with Legal, Tax, Customs, Insurance, Procurement, Engineering, Pipelines and Construction departments.
  • Monitor all contractors reporting and investigate any anomalies.
  • Contractual close-out of the designated Contracts.
  • Contributing to a process of continuous improvement in the contracting process.
  • Performing all activities to the highest professional and ethical standards and in accordance with the company’s processes and ensuring all decisions/commitments are recorded in an auditable manner.
  • Participating in appropriate risk workshops.
  • Providing support to the Leads to ensure that all required contract reporting systems are established and maintained in accordance with project requirements, and that accurate reports are provided to project management.
  • Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance and modifications
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of contract administration.
  • Acts as liaison between Company and clients/vendors
  • Responsible for educating the project team on contract terms and monitoring compliance
  • Undertake more ‘contractual aspects’ of compliance e.g. insurances and bank guarantees
  • Protects the company from unnecessary contract liabilities, damages, penalties, etc.
  • If required, do critically review of all types of agreements (e.g., Contract, purchase, service, subcontract, software, non-disclosure, etc.) for assigned client(s) both internal and external;
  • Review defined contract terms (i.e. limitation of liability, indemnity, patent indemnity, warranty, etc);
  • Assists Project Management to achieve contractual compliance on processes and procedures
  • Manages and Controls Audits and Contract Reviews
  • Be available to answer urgent questions and provide support
  • Provide negotiation and contractual guidance to staff
  • Provide backup support to other departments as required;
  • Support special projects as assigned by department leadership
  • Preparing and Supporting changes, Claims, Settlement
  • Responsible for reviewing the Monthly Progress Report and Weekly Progress Report
  • Monitor and participate in resolution of outstanding issue in project correspondence.
  • Should adequately report to department leadership as required by procedure or by the leader itself. All communications from the candidate to other line managers or company directors should be reported via the department leadership. Candidate should strictly follow this procedure.
  • Ready to work and stay at project sites as well.
  • Should be adjustable to travel different locations as requested by the project.
  • Any other specific task assigned by the department leadership or by project management.
  • The candidate should be ready to work in multiple projects. The Department leader reserve the rights to assign or change over the resource from one project to another, if required
  • To train junior contact administrators and ensure that they will be able to work independent in the absence of supervisor. All issues in the project or with other department should be reported to department leader seamlessly.
  • If required by the project team or the department leadership, the candidate should be willing to work on public holidays or weekends or extra hours to meet the deadline on the project or at company level.
  • Ensuring that the contract is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and overseeing the preparation and revision of contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods and service.
